| No surprise as far as the champion goes here with Fillippe Chong, the only current Australasian GP rider, storming to his second Australasian title with a 15 points maximum. Behind him Warren Casey rode really well to collect 11 points before beating former World Champion Ryan Irwin in a runoff for 2nd place, both qualifying to the GP Challenge Semi Finals. Also qualifying were Jason Isaacs, Wynton Te-Huna and Jerry Devazier. No huge names went out although Darren Moore was desperately unlucky with a couple of 2 minute exclusions and he'll be hoping the GP selectors think of him when picking the 2 wildcards for the GP Challenge Semis. |
