From its birth the Academy League was set up to allow only UK riders to develop along the same lines as the riders in the PL and UL.

 

As the years passed the League has grown, as have the clubs and riders qualities and abilities improved more as experienced riders became certificated coaches. The recent inclusion of dual nationals as Britain becomes more diverse has been good for this league, Now after the ONE season trial with a selected list of overseas riders into the AL, The NSSPA have decided to revert back to the norm and allow emerging riders from our JJ competition to get more chances to race in Sim Leagues
