Andrew Knapkin produced a final bend swoop to snatch victory from Michael Plant in the Juvenile Jaunt GP 2nd round. His win takes him 1 point clear of Noah Nicholson in the overall standings with one round to go. Nicholson finished a good 3rd in the final ahead of Lee McAuliffe who put in another decent effort. McAuliffe lies in 4th place in the standings just behind Harry Coles. Coles had a good meeting topping the qualifying scorers before coming last in his semi-final. John Honey also had 13 points heading into the semis but, like Coles, finisehd last in his race. The two other semi-finalists were Tim Luckhurst and Alex Golden who both had solid meetings after not so good 1st rounds.

1st round winner Ben Case raced to a fine win in his opening ride only to back that up with 4 last places. He has now dropped down the standings and will have to have an exceptional final round to climb back into contention. Behind the top 8 Alain De Gruchy looked on course for the semis with 7 points after 3 rides but the n failed to score another point. Pre GP favourites Frankie Young, Darcy Broad and Jordan Trott will all be disappointed with their performances and can only now be spoilers in the final round.

With 1 round to go and 5 points separating the top 6 it is hard to predict who will come out on top in a very competitive series. Currently Andrew Knapkin holds the upper hand but he knows one slip and any of the other 5 will pounce for the title.
